April 21, 2016

On Thursday, April 21st, B.E.S.T. hosted our second annual Alumni Networking Breakfast for post-college aged Alumni. Alums spanning over 15 years gathered at Donna’s of Cross Keys for breakfast and to network. Member schools represented by B.E.S.T. Alumni were Bryn Mawr, Friends, Garrison Forest, Gilman, McDonogh, and Park. Additionally, Alumni from two previous member schools, Loyola Blakefield and Calvert Hall, were in attendance.

B.E.S.T. Alumnus Dia Clark, Class of 2006 who attended The Park School of Baltimore and is currently serving as their Director of Athletics, Boys’ Programs, shared his story and appreciation for the B.E.S.T. program and for his Park School experience. Hussainatu Blake Mumford, Bryn Mawr School Class of 2000, thanked B.E.S.T. for being one of the first supporters of Focal Point Global, a non-profit that she and her twin sister, Hassanatu Blake, Class of 2000, founded in 2010.

We look forward to seeing this Alumni event continue to grow each year, and we thank our Alumni who look forward to sharing their talents to support the work of B.E.S.T.
