Current Activities and Programs
B.E.S.T. supports admissions department activities at our 20 member schools in a variety of ways. We fundraise, to increase tuition aid to African-American children, with support from individual donors, local businesses, and foundations. B.E.S.T. provides admissions testing for over 200 students annually. We provide counseling to parents and administrative support to admissions departments (in member schools) throughout the peak admissions season. Two financial aid workshops are provided each year in addition to study skills/test taking workshops for current B.E.S.T. students. B.E.S.T. provides an outstanding summer enrichment program for newly enrolled 6th, 7th, and 8th grade students. Summer internships opportunities are also communicated to B.E.S.T. graduates while attending college.
