Young Men’s Leadership Program of B.E.S.T.

Co-hosted by St. Paul’s School for Girls and St. Paul’s School

On Saturday, March 2nd, upper school young women and men attended “Making Your Path, Building Your Future,” a Leadership Program of the Baltimore Educational Scholarship Trust.  B.E.S.T. Board of Trustees members, Tiffani Sterrette Collins and Cheo Hurley, and several of their colleagues and member school alumni, led a panel discussion that emphasized to our students that they are able to create the future they want through the decisions they make and the opportunities they seize. The panelists stressed the importance of academic excellence, character development and integrity. They discussed professionalism and challenged our participants to actively seek a mentor to help support them while creating their path.  After the panel discussion, the students and panelists enjoyed lunch and the chance to network with one another.  Students shared that they felt inspired to continue the conversation by engaging classmates, faculty and administration on their campuses.

Students joined us from Friends School, Gilman School, Maryvale Preparatory
School, McDonogh School, Oldfields School, Park School of Baltimore, Roland Park Country School, St. Paul’s School, St. Paul’s School for Girls and St. Timothy’s School.
