Honoring Vernon A Reid, Jr

The Board of Trustees of the Baltimore Educational Scholarship Trust surprised Vernon Reid at the May Board meeting by naming him Trustee Emeritus. Vernon joined the Board of B.E.S.T. in 1995, and his dedication to the mission – and the dedication of his family – has been stalwart and significant. Stu Simms, Trustee Emeritus and most recent Past President, shared moving remarks to thank him for his service.
