Jamarr is an active member of his community at Boys’ Latin. He is very passionate about art and appreciates the supportive faculty he has met on campus. He has made many good friends at Boys’ Latin. In addition to academics, Jamarr is a member of the Diversity Club, Black Awareness Club, and Model UN. He also organizes Boys’ Latin’s Coffee House shows and participates in the “Art of Leadership” at Art with a Heart. Since Jamarr hopes to work in the medical field one day, he is a member of the MERIT Health Leadership Academy, a comprehensive academic and career mentorship program supporting Baltimore high school students who aspire to careers in medicine.
Jamarr’s Parent says: Being a part of the B.E.S.T family has been one of the greatest experiences of our lives. Not only is my son receiving a great education, but he has been exposed to so much more. He has had opportunities to participate in leadership programs, art programs, diversity events, workshops, and the list goes on. I appreciate everything B.E.S.T has done for us.
