Success Strategies for Our Next Generation of Leaders

February 25, 2017

On Saturday, February 25th, as part of the Molly Hathaway Young Women’s and Redmond C.S. Finney Young Men’s Leadership Programs – 30 Upper School B.E.S.T. students joined GBALI for our fourth annual joint event entitled: “Success Strategies for Our Next Generation of Leaders.”

The Pope Institute for Polish, Poise, and Etiquette led an interactive morning of workshops to help students “stay ready so they never have to get ready.” The morning included mock table interviews, a review of sources on where to find internships and summer jobs, appropriate timelines in order to secure internships and jobs, the dangers of social media and tips on how to create an appropriate digital footprint.

This year, B.E.S.T. has 11 students as part of the GBALI cohort of 34 students that meets each Saturday, October through May.

A special thank you to The Pope Institute’s Kimberly Pope and Roderic Baker for sharing your expertise and advice with our students; and our heartfelt appreciation to the Directors of GBALI for your continued partnership.
