Tamara A. Wyche

“I entered Garrison Forest School (GFS) in the 7th grade.  Graduating from an independent school in Baltimore not only equipped me with the skills necessary to succeed in an academically rigorous college environment, but also enabled me to navigate a variety of social situations with confidence.  The intimate environment and small class size at GFS provided me with a multitude of opportunities to fine-tune my analytic, rhetorical, and leadership skills, and cultivated confidence that followed me throughout my time at Bates College, Harvard Law School, and now at a top-ranked multi-national law firm in New York.  My collective experience, which began at GFS, continues to benefit me today, whether I am executing a multi-billion dollar private equity transaction or confidently interacting with Senior Partners at firm events.  Without B.E.S.T, I may have never had the opportunity to become the woman I am today, nor the woman I have yet to become.”
