Trip to the National Museum of African American History and Culture

July 18, 2018

On Wednesday, July 18th, 29 B.E.S.T. Upper School students and parents spent the day at the National Museum of African American History and Culture in Washington, D.C.  As part of the Molly Hathaway Young Women’s and Redmond C.S. Finney Young Men’s Leadership programs, students had an opportunity to tour the museum with their parents at their leisure with highlights including the history and culture galleries as well as the recently opened Oprah Winfrey exhibit. With so much to see and learn throughout the museum, students and parents alike look forward to returning in the future!
