TyShea feels at home at Garrison Forest. She quickly became very involved in community, sports, and academic clubs. TyShea was awarded the “First Impression Spotlight” Award for September. She has played, Soccer, Basketball, and is currently a member of the Tennis Team.  TyShea participated in the robotics program, is currently a member of the Chorus, and Debate Team. She is also currently a member of the 6th grade class leadership panel. One of the most recent activities that the panel has participated in is the Donald Bentley Food Drive and TyShea has expressed to me that she has learned that a simple act such as a food drive can make a huge difference in a community.

TyShea’s Parent says: “TyShea has always had a self-made goal to exceed academic standards.  The B.E.S.T program provided an opportunity that she would not have otherwise been able to experience, we are very grateful.”
