B.E.S.T. Kick-Off to Summer Celebration

June has been a whirlwind, and earlier this month, over 275 family members from across the B.E.S.T. community gathered at The Odyssey School to mark the end of the school year and celebrate the start of summer at the annual Kick-Off to Summer Celebration.
The event welcomed current B.E.S.T. families, newly enrolled students and their families, and College-Aged Alumni for an evening of connection, fun and celebration. For those joining the B.E.S.T. community for the first time, the evening provided a unique opportunity to meet other families and begin building relationships before the school year begins in the fall.
With clear skies and picture-perfect weather, DJ DPTJR provided upbeat music while guests enjoyed lawn games such as giant Jenga, Connect Four, cornhole, and volleyball. Face painting added to the festive atmosphere, and snacks from Season’s Pizza, Kona Ice and Auntie Anne’s were a big hit with both kids and adults.
Karlo Young, President of the B.E.S.T. Board of Trustees, delivered remarks that recognized the accomplishments of college-aged alumni and encouraged families to continue leaning into the strength of the B.E.S.T. network.
Thank you to Head of School, Marty Sweeney, for graciously hosting us on The Odyssey School’s campus, offering a beautiful backdrop for the evening.
The Kick-Off to Summer Celebration remains a cherished tradition for the B.E.S.T. community, offering a space for families to come together and celebrate all the successes of the school year. As summer begins, the event served as a joyful reminder of the power of community and the promise of the season ahead.
