“College Admissions FAQ” Workshop featuring Calvin Wise and Paula Dofat

On Sunday, October 30th, 50 B.E.S.T. family members gathered on the campus of Johns Hopkins University for our “College Admissions FAQ” Workshop featuring Calvin Wise and Paula Dofat. As the Director of Admissions and Recruitment at Johns Hopkins, Calvin walked families through all aspects of the application process and shared important tips to consider early in the college search process. He also emphasized the importance of students building relationships with their member school faculty and college counseling teams.
To compliment Calvin’s Admissions overview, Paula Dofat shared her keen insights on HBCU’s, scholarships and unique programs that many HBCU’s offer that often offset the cost of attending.
